ℹ️ These figures relate to the Latemar ski area, shared by several resorts: kilometres of runs, number of runs, lifts and lift pass are common to all of them. The figures shown here and on the pages of neighbouring resorts therefore refer to the same ski area and the same lift pass: they are not added together.
The 49 km, 18 lifts and lift pass figures given are those of the Latemar ski area, shared by Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo. The breakdown of runs is given as a percentage of the kilometres at each difficulty level. Predazzo is a village in the Val di Fiemme linked to the Latemar ski area. Its ski jumps hosted the ski jumping events of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.

Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
A resort on a human scale, Predazzo prioritises the quality of its welcome and its closeness over impressive figures. Its 49 km of runs are well suited to a stay of 3 to 4 days, especially with families or skiers who don't need to constantly change their playground. Predazzo has managed to preserve the identity of an authentic mountain village, far from the concrete resorts of the 1970s. People come here for clean air, unspoiled scenery and a friendly atmosphere that stands in contrast to the industrialisation of skiing in some large ski areas. Predazzo's altitude (1,018 m at the base, 2,388 m at the top) allows it to maintain decent snow cover in midwinter. January and February are the most reliable months; in December and March, it's worth checking conditions before finalising a booking. The budget for a stay in Predazzo is clearly high: 71€ for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants that are among the most expensive in the Alps. It's the price of excellence, but you should be aware of it before you go. In short: Predazzo doesn't rival the giants of skiing, and doesn't pretend to. It's an honest destination, often underrated, that deserves to be (re)discovered.
