ℹ️ These figures refer to the Schladming 4-Berge-Skischaukel ski area, which is shared by several resorts: the kilometres of pistes, number of runs, lifts and lift pass are common to all of them. The values shown here and on the pages of neighbouring resorts therefore refer to the same ski area and the same lift pass: they are not added together.
The 123 km, 47 lifts and lift pass shown are those of the 4-Berge-Skischaukel ski area, shared by Schladming, Haus im Ennstal and Pichl – Reiteralm. A resort in the Ski amadé network: multi-day Ski amadé passes also give access to the other areas in the network, which are not linked to each other, including Flachau, Zauchensee, Bad Gastein, Maria Alm and Schladming. Run distribution is given as a percentage of the kilometres of each difficulty level. The Reiteralm, above Pichl, is the western entrance to the 4-Berge-Skischaukel, linked to the Hochwurzen and the Planai.

Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
Pichl – Reiteralm offers 123 km of well-marked runs, a medium-sized ski area ideal for spending 4 to 5 days without ever doing exactly the same thing twice. The 47 lifts are generally sufficient to handle the crowds in high season. Pichl – Reiteralm's family reputation is well deserved: dedicated beginner areas, a well-run childcare service, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for laying the foundations of skiing with children. The altitude of Pichl – Reiteralm (850 m at the bottom, 2,015 m at the top) allows it to maintain decent snow cover through the depths of winter. January and February are the most reliable months; in December and March, it is best to check conditions before finalising a booking. The budget for a stay at Pichl – Reiteralm is clearly high: €79 for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants that are among the most expensive in the Alps. It is the price of excellence, but you should be aware of it before you go. In short: Pichl – Reiteralm keeps its promises. A Northern Alps resort that will suit most profiles without disappointing.
