Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
The Marilleva ski area, with its 155 km of runs, offers a great choice for every profile: large enough that you won't go round in circles for a week, yet compact enough to find your favourite sectors easily. The 58 lifts let you link descents without long queues. Technical terrain reigns at Marilleva: with 22 black runs and 46 red runs on the programme, confident skiers will find plenty to challenge them. Off-piste and freeride are practised there in often excellent conditions, thanks to the altitude and the orientation of the slopes. With a summit at 2,504 m and a village at 1,400 m, Marilleva's snow reliability is generally good from January to late March. A few exceptionally mild winters can cause tension early in the season, but the situation recovers quickly with the first serious snowfalls. A stay in Marilleva is clearly expensive: 85€ for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants among the priciest in the Alps. It's the price of excellence, but you should be aware of it before you set off. In short, Marilleva lives up to its promises. A Northern Alps resort that will suit most profiles without disappointing.
