ℹ️ These figures refer to the Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area, shared by several resorts: kilometres of pistes, number of runs, lifts and lift pass are common to them. The values shown here and on neighbouring resort pages therefore refer to the same ski area and the same lift pass: they are not added together.
The 100 km, the 29 lifts and the lift pass shown are those of the Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area, shared by Ponte di Legno and the Passo del Tonale. The breakdown of runs is given as a percentage of the kilometres at each difficulty level. Ponte di Legno is a village in the upper Val Camonica, linked to the Tonale pass ski area, which climbs to the Presena glacier at 3,000 m. It has a more authentic village atmosphere than the pass.

Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
Ponte di Legno offers 100 km of well-marked runs – a medium-sized ski area that's ideal for spending 4 to 5 days without ever skiing exactly the same thing twice. The 29 lifts are generally enough to handle the crowds in peak season. Ponte di Legno has managed to keep the feel of an authentic mountain village, far from the concrete resorts of the 1970s. People come here for the clean air, the unspoilt scenery and a friendly atmosphere that stands apart from the industrialised skiing of some of the big areas. As for snow, Ponte di Legno is in a strong position with its summit at 3,000 m – even in capricious winters, the upper runs hold up well into April. The village at 1,258 m is also well placed to offer comfortable conditions from mid-December onwards. Budgeting for a stay in Ponte di Legno is clearly on the high side: €64 for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants among the most expensive in the Alps. It's the price of excellence, but you should be aware of it before you go. In short: Ponte di Legno lives up to its promises. A Northern Alps resort that will suit most skiers without disappointing.
🏔️ Pontedilegno-Tonale
The Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area links the Lombard village of Ponte di Legno with the Tonale pass, in Trentino, and climbs up to the Presena glacier at 3,000 m. Its 100 km of runs, mostly red, benefit from reliable snow thanks to the altitude. The run breakdown is given as a percentage of kilometres by difficulty.
