Practical information

Les Menuires is a ski resort in the Northern Alps massif, in the 3 Vallées, Savoie. The ski area covers 160 km of runs between 1,800 m and 2,850 m, served by 42 lifts. Day pass €70 per adult.

* Price per adult for 1 day, public high-season rate. Reduced rates (online purchase, outside school holidays, families, children, seniors) are generally offered by the resort.

ℹ️ These figures relate to the Les Menuires – Saint-Martin-de-Belleville ski area, shared by several resorts: kilometres of runs, number of runs, lifts and lift pass are common to all. The values shown here and on the pages of neighbouring resorts therefore refer to the same ski area and the same lift pass: they are not added together.

About Les Menuires
Les Menuires ski runs

Les Menuires, a resort from the 1960s at the heart of the Trois Vallées (600 km), has thoroughly renovated its original concrete architecture. Perched at 1,850 m, it gives access to the 600 km of the largest ski area in the world, at prices often gentler than its neighbours. Its own ski area has 85 runs over 160 km, rising to 2,850 m at the summit of La Masse.

✍️ Our verdict on Les Menuires

The Les Menuires ski area, with its 160 km of runs, offers something for every type of skier: large enough that you won't go round in circles for a week, yet compact enough to find your favourite sectors easily. The 42 lifts make it easy to chain descents without long queues. Les Menuires' family reputation is well deserved: dedicated beginner areas, a well-organised childcare service, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for laying the foundations of skiing with children. With a summit at 2,850 m and a village at 1,800 m, snow reliability at Les Menuires is generally dependable from January to the end of March. A few exceptionally mild winters can create tension early in the season, but the situation recovers quickly once serious snowfalls arrive. The budget for a stay in Les Menuires is clearly high: 70€ for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants that are among the most expensive in the Alps. It is the price of excellence, but you should be aware of it before you go. In short, Les Menuires keeps its promises. A Northern Alps resort that will suit most skiers without disappointing.

🏔️ Les 3 Vallées

The largest ski area in the world, and that's not just a slogan: 600 km of runs that link up without ever needing the car, from Courchevel to Val Thorens via Méribel and Les Menuires. Originally three valleys – Saint-Bon, Allues, Belleville – joined by Orelle on the Maurienne side. This is the kingdom of high-altitude skiing: Val Thorens peaks at 2,300 m in the village, the Cime Caron tops 3,200 m, and the snow lasts from November to May. Each resort has its own distinct personality, from the unapologetic luxury of Courchevel 1850 to the family spirit of Les Menuires. Plan on several days: nobody skis around the whole area in a single day.
