Courchevel is a ski resort in the Northern Alps range, in the 3 Vallées, Savoie. The ski area covers 150 km of runs between 1,850 m and 2,738 m, served by 39 lifts. Day lift pass €77 per adult.

ℹ️ These figures relate to the Vallée de Courchevel (Courchevel – La Tania) ski area, which is shared by several resorts: kilometres of runs, number of runs, lifts and lift pass are common to all of them. The values shown here and on the pages of neighbouring resorts therefore refer to the same ski area and the same lift pass: they should not be added together.
Courchevel is the most luxurious resort in France, spread over six villages from 1,300 to 1,850 m in the Trois Vallées (600 km). Its international clientele, palace hotels and starred restaurants make it a symbol of high-end skiing worldwide. The 150 km own ski area (109 runs) offers exceptional variety for all levels.

Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
The Courchevel ski area, with its 150 km of runs, offers a fine choice for every type of skier: large enough not to go round in circles for a week, yet compact enough to find your favourite sectors easily. The 39 lifts let you link runs without long queues. Courchevel's DNA is high-end: the accommodation, the mountain restaurants and the resort services reflect a clientele that doesn't count the cost. At 77€ for a day lift pass, the stay comes at a price, but the experience lives up to it for anyone who wants to indulge without compromise. With a summit at 2,738 m and a village at 1,850 m, Courchevel's snow reliability is generally good from January to the end of March. A few exceptionally mild winters can cause strains early in the season, but the situation recovers quickly once serious snowfall arrives. The budget for a stay in Courchevel is clearly high: 77€ for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants among the most expensive in the Alps. It is the price of excellence, but you should be aware of it before you go. In short: Courchevel isn't for everyone, but for those who can afford it, it's probably one of the best skiing experiences in Europe.
🏔️ Les 3 Vallées
The largest ski area in the world, and that's not just a slogan: 600 km of runs that link up without ever needing the car, from Courchevel to Val Thorens via Méribel and Les Menuires. Originally three valleys – Saint-Bon, Allues, Belleville – joined by Orelle on the Maurienne side. This is the kingdom of high-altitude skiing: Val Thorens peaks at 2,300 m in the village, the Cime Caron tops 3,200 m, and the snow lasts from November to May. Each resort has its own distinct personality, from the unapologetic luxury of Courchevel 1850 to the family spirit of Les Menuires. Plan on several days: nobody skis around the whole area in a single day.
