ℹ️ These figures refer to the Les 4 Vallées ski area, which is shared by several resorts: kilometres of runs, number of runs, lifts and lift pass are common to all of them. The values shown here and on the pages of neighbouring resorts therefore refer to the same ski area and the same lift pass: they do not add up.
The 412 km, 68 lifts and lift pass shown are those of the 4 Vallées ski area, shared by Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon and La Tzoumaz; the breakdown of runs is given as a percentage of the kilometres. La Tzoumaz, formerly known as Les Mayens-de-Riddes, is a village at 1,535 m linked to Verbier by the Savoleyres sector. Quieter and more family-friendly than its famous neighbour, it gives access to the same lift pass and the same 412 km of runs.

Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
La Tzoumaz is one of the few resorts offering more than 412 km of ski runs — a colossal ski area that even the fastest skiers won't cover in a week. With 68 lifts and 0 runs listed, it is a destination that can absorb all tourist flows without ever feeling crowded. The technical terrain is king at La Tzoumaz: with 25 black and 49 red runs on offer, experienced skiers will find plenty to challenge them. Off-piste and freeride are practised there in often excellent conditions, thanks to the altitude and the orientation of the slopes. As for snow reliability, La Tzoumaz is in a strong position with its summit at 3,330 m — even in capricious winters, the upper runs hold up well until April. The village at 1,535 m is also well placed to offer comfortable conditions from as early as mid-December. The budget for a stay at La Tzoumaz is clearly high: 99€ for a day lift pass, on top of accommodation and mountain restaurants that are among the most expensive in the Alps. It is the price of excellence — but you should be aware of it before setting off. In short: La Tzoumaz keeps its promises. A Northern Alps resort that will suit most profiles without disappointing.
