ℹ️ These figures apply to the Dévoluy (Superdévoluy – La Joue du Loup) ski area, which is shared by several resorts: kilometres of runs, number of runs, lifts and lift pass are common to all of them. The figures shown here and on the pages of neighbouring resorts therefore refer to the same ski area and the same lift pass: they are not added together.
Superdévoluy is a purpose-built resort at 1,500 m in the Dévoluy massif, with 100 km of well-covered runs. Built in the 1970s, it is little known but offers quality skiing in a unique wild, rocky setting. One of the best snow reliability records in the Southern Alps.

Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
Superdévoluy offers 100 km of well-marked runs, a mid-sized ski area ideal for spending 4 to 5 days without ever skiing exactly the same thing twice. The 22 lifts are generally enough to handle the throughput at peak season. Superdévoluy's family reputation is well earned: dedicated beginner areas, a well-run childcare service, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Southern Alps for getting children started on skiing. With a summit at 2,500 m and a village at 1,500 m, snow reliability at Superdévoluy is generally good from January to the end of March. A few exceptionally mild winters can strain snow cover early in the season, but conditions usually recover quickly once serious snowfalls arrive. The 44€ day lift pass puts Superdévoluy among the mid-range resorts on price – neither cheap nor exorbitant. The quality of the ski area and its facilities justifies the cost for most skiers. In short: Superdévoluy is one of those rare resorts that combines a genuine village, a sincerely family-friendly atmosphere and runs suited to everyone. It is hard to have a bad stay here.
🏔️ Le Dévoluy
Superdévoluy and La Joue du Loup share 100 km of runs in the Dévoluy massif, between the Vercors and the Southern Alps: a wild, mineral limestone cirque that looks like nothing else in the Alps. The area peaks at 2,500 m and enjoys snow reliability often better than its latitude would suggest, thanks to weather systems that break against the cliffs. Superdévoluy embraces its 1960s concrete architecture; La Joue du Loup, built twenty years later in wood and stone, is distinctly more appealing. Prices remain among the gentlest in the Alps for an area of this size.
