ℹ️ These figures refer to the Adelboden – Lenk ski area, which is shared by several resorts: kilometres of runs, number of runs, lifts and lift pass are common to all. The values shown here and on the pages of neighbouring resorts therefore refer to the same ski area and the same lift pass: they should not be added together.
The 86 km, 22 lifts and lift pass shown are those of the Adelboden – Lenk ski area, shared by both villages. The day price is dynamic or not published: the price shown is an estimate. The breakdown of runs is given as a percentage of the kilometres for each difficulty. Lenk is the upper Simmental village, linked to the Adelboden ski area via the Hahnenmoos. Across the valley, the Betelberg offers a second, more family-friendly area. The Simme Falls, at the bottom of the valley, are among the well-known natural sites of the Oberland.

Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
Lenk offers 86 km of well-marked runs, a mid-sized ski area ideal for spending 4 to 5 days without ever doing exactly the same thing twice. The 22 lifts are generally sufficient to handle the crowds in peak season. Lenk's family reputation is well earned: dedicated beginner areas, a well-organised childcare service, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for laying the foundations of skiing with children. Lenk's altitude (1,068 m at the bottom, 2,200 m at the top) helps it maintain decent snow cover in mid-winter. January and February are the most reliable; in December and March, it's best to check conditions before finalising a booking. The budget for a stay in Lenk is clearly high: 76€ for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants among the most expensive in the Alps. It's the price of excellence, but be aware of it before you set off. In short: Lenk lives up to its promises. A Northern Alps resort that will suit most profiles without disappointing.
