✍️ Our take on La Norma

A resort on a human scale, La Norma focuses on the quality of its welcome and its closeness rather than impressive figures. Its 65 km of runs are ideal for a 3 to 4 day stay, especially for families or skiers who do not need to constantly change their playground. La Norma's family reputation is well deserved: dedicated beginner areas, a well-run childcare service, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for children's first steps on skis. With a summit at 2,750 m and a village at 1,350 m, snow reliability at La Norma is generally good from January to the end of March. A few exceptionally mild winters can cause shortages early in the season, but the situation recovers quickly once serious snowfalls arrive. At €44, the day lift pass places La Norma among the mid-range resorts on budget: neither cheap nor exorbitant. The quality of the ski area and its facilities justifies the price for most skiers. In short: La Norma keeps its promises. A resort in the Northern Alps that will suit most profiles without disappointing.
