ℹ️ These figures refer to the La Clusaz – Manigod ski area, shared by several resorts: kilometres of runs, number of runs, lifts and lift pass are common to them. The values shown here and on the pages of neighbouring resorts therefore refer to the same ski area and the same lift pass: they are not added together.
La Clusaz is one of the most authentic resorts in the Alps, at 1,040 m in the heart of the Aravis range, home of Reblochon AOP cheese. Its 132 km of runs spread over 5 distinct areas. Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
La Clusaz offers 125 km of well-marked runs, an intermediate-sized ski area ideal for spending 4 to 5 days without ever doing exactly the same thing twice. The 49 lifts are generally enough to handle the crowds in high season. La Clusaz's family reputation is well deserved: dedicated beginner areas, a well-run childcare service, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for laying the foundations of skiing with children. With a summit at 2,600 m and a village at 1,100 m, La Clusaz's snow reliability is generally good from January to the end of March. A few exceptionally mild winters can cause difficulties early in the season, but the situation recovers quickly once serious snowfalls arrive. A stay in La Clusaz is clearly expensive: 57€ for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants that are among the priciest in the Alps. It is the price of excellence, but it's worth being aware of it before you set off. In short: La Clusaz is one of those rare resorts that combines a real village, a sincere family atmosphere and runs suited to everyone. It's hard to have a bad stay here.
