ℹ️ These figures refer to the Monterosa Ski ski area, which is shared by several resorts: km of runs, number of runs, lifts and lift pass are common to all of them. The values shown here and on neighbouring resort pages therefore refer to the same ski area and the same lift pass: they do not add up.
The 132 km, 21 lifts and lift pass shown are those of the Monterosa Ski area, shared by Champoluc, Gressoney-La-Trinité and Alagna Valsesia. The run distribution is given as a percentage of the kilometres for each difficulty level. Gressoney-La-Trinité is a village with Walser culture in the heart of the Lys Valley, at the centre of the Monterosa Ski area, between Champoluc and Alagna.

Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
Gressoney-La-Trinité offers 132 km of well-marked runs, an intermediate-sized ski area ideal for spending 4 to 5 days without ever skiing exactly the same thing twice. The 21 lifts are generally sufficient to handle the flow in high season. Gressoney-La-Trinité has kept its identity as an authentic mountain village, far from the concrete resorts of the 1970s. People come here for the clean air, unspoilt scenery and a warm, human atmosphere that stands out against the industrialisation of skiing in some of the big ski areas. As for snow, Gressoney-La-Trinité is in a strong position with its summit at 3,275 m. Even in capricious winters, the upper runs hold up well until April. The village at 1,637 m is also well placed to offer comfortable conditions from mid-December onwards. The budget for a stay in Gressoney-La-Trinité is clearly high: 69€ for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants that are among the most expensive in the Alps. It's the price of excellence, but you should be aware of it before you go. In short: Gressoney-La-Trinité lives up to its promises. A Northern Alps resort that will suit most skiers without disappointing.
