Cambre d'Aze is a ski resort in the Pyrenees range, in the Pyrénées-Orientales. The ski area spans 22 km of runs between 1,700 m and 2,408 m, served by 13 lifts. Day lift pass €40 per adult.
* Price per adult for 1 day, public high-season rate. Reduced rates (online purchase, outside school holidays, families, children, seniors) are generally offered by the resort.
The lift pass is shared with the neighbouring resorts of Formiguères and Porte-Puymorens (Trio Pyrénées): same price, valid at either one. However, these are separate ski areas that are not linked on skis, so a pass only gives access to one resort per day. Cambre d'Aze is a resort at 1,600 m in the Pyrénées-Orientales, with 30 km of runs between 1600 and 2,408 m. Its steep north-facing slopes offer reliable snow. A technical ski area prized by experienced skiers, set in the wild landscape of the Catalan Pyrenees.

Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
Cambre d'Aze is a small, low-key resort: 22 km of runs for an intimate skiing experience, far from the bustle of the big resorts. This is where you come for calm, authenticity and no queues at the lifts. Cambre d'Aze's family reputation is well earned: dedicated beginner areas, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Pyrenees for getting children started on skiing. The altitude of Cambre d'Aze (1,700 m at the bottom, 2,408 m at the top) helps it keep decent snow through mid-winter. January and February are the most reliable months; in December and March, it is wise to check conditions before finalising a booking. At €40, the day pass places Cambre d'Aze among the mid-range resorts on budget: neither cheap nor exorbitant. The quality of the ski area and facilities justifies the price for most skiers. In short, Cambre d'Aze doesn't compete with the giants of skiing and doesn't pretend to. It's an honest destination, often underrated, that deserves to be (re)discovered.
The resort is reached via two separate villages, Eyne and Saint-Pierre-dels-Forcats, which share the ski area, which faces due north.
