Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability

✍️ Our view of Alpe di Mera

Alpe di Mera is a low-key resort on a modest scale: 17 km of runs for an intimate skiing experience, far from the bustle of the big resorts. This is where people come for calm, authenticity and lift queues that barely exist. Alpe di Mera has kept the identity of an authentic mountain village, far from the concrete resorts of the 1970s. People come here for the clean air, the unspoiled landscapes and a friendly atmosphere that stands apart from the industrialisation of skiing in some large ski areas. Alpe di Mera's moderate altitude, from a base at 682 m to a summit at 1,739 m, makes it sensitive to climate variations. January and February remain the most reliable months for optimal snow cover. Outside that window, checking the snow reports before you travel is strongly recommended. At 42€, the day lift pass places Alpe di Mera in the mid-range category for budget: neither a bargain nor exorbitant. The quality of the ski area and its facilities justifies this price for most skiers. In short: Alpe di Mera does not compete with the giants of skiing, and does not pretend to. It is an honest destination, often underrated, that deserves to be (re)discovered.
