✍️ Our verdict on San Vigilio di Marebbe

San Vigilio di Marebbe offers 125 km of well-marked runs — a mid-sized ski area ideal for spending 4 to 5 days without ever doing exactly the same thing twice. The 32 lifts are generally enough to handle the flow in high season. San Vigilio di Marebbe's family reputation is well earned: dedicated beginner areas, a well-organised childcare service, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It's one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for laying the foundations of skiing with children. The altitude of San Vigilio di Marebbe (1,201 m at the bottom, 2,275 m at the top) allows it to maintain decent snow cover in mid-winter. January and February are the most reliable; in December and March, it is best to check conditions before finalising a booking. The budget for a stay at San Vigilio di Marebbe is clearly high: €80 for a day pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants that are among the most expensive in the Alps. It's the price of excellence — but you should be aware of it before you go. In short: San Vigilio di Marebbe keeps its promises well. A Northern Alps resort that will suit most profiles without disappointing.
