Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
Corvara offers 130 km of well-marked runs, a mid-sized ski area ideal for spending 4 to 5 days without ever doing exactly the same thing twice. The 53 lifts are generally sufficient to handle peak-season crowds. Corvara's family reputation is well deserved: dedicated beginner areas, a well-organised childcare service, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for learning to ski with children. With a summit at 2,778 m and a village at 1,568 m, snow reliability at Corvara is generally good from January to the end of March. A few exceptionally mild winters may cause tensions early in the season, but the situation recovers quickly once serious snowfall arrives. The budget for a stay in Corvara is clearly high: €80 for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants among the most expensive in the Alps. It is the price of excellence, but you should be aware of it before you go. In short: Corvara lives up to its promises. A Northern Alps resort that will suit the majority of skiers without disappointing.
