Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability

✍️ Our view of Lavarone

A resort on a human scale, Lavarone focuses on the quality of its welcome and its closeness rather than on impressive figures. Its 30 km of runs are perfectly suited to a 3- to 4-day stay, especially for families or for skiers who do not need to constantly change their playground. Lavarone's family reputation is well earned: dedicated beginner areas, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for getting children started on skiing. Lavarone's modest altitude, from a base at 1,174 m to a summit at 1,600 m, makes it sensitive to changes in the weather. January and February remain the most reliable months for good snow cover. Outside that window, checking the snow reports before you set off is strongly recommended. The 48€ day lift pass places Lavarone among the mid-range resorts on price: neither cheap nor exorbitant. The quality of the ski area and its facilities justifies this price for most skiers. In short: Lavarone does not compete with the giants of skiing, and does not pretend to. It is an honest destination, often underrated, that deserves to be (re)discovered.
