✍️ Our view of Kirchberg in Tirol

The Kirchberg in Tirol ski area, with its 188 km of runs, offers a fine choice for every type of skier: large enough not to run out of things to do during a week, yet compact enough to find your favourite sectors easily. The 58 lifts keep the descents flowing without long queues. Kirchberg in Tirol's family reputation is well earned: dedicated beginner areas, a well-run childcare service, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for laying the foundations of skiing with children. Kirchberg in Tirol's altitude (837 m at the base, 2,000 m at the top) helps it maintain decent snow cover in the depths of winter. January and February are the most reliable months; in December and March, it is worth checking conditions before finalising a booking. A stay in Kirchberg in Tirol is clearly on the expensive side: €83 for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants that are among the dearest in the Alps. It is the price of excellence, but it is worth being aware of it before you set off. In short: Kirchberg in Tirol lives up to its promises. A Northern Alps resort that will suit most skiers without disappointing.
