ℹ️ These figures refer to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski area, shared by several resorts: kilometres of runs, number of runs, lifts and lift pass are common to all. The values shown here and on the neighbouring resorts' pages therefore refer to the same ski area and the same lift pass: they are not added together.
The 270 km, 69 lifts and lift pass shown are those of the Skicircus ski area, shared by Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn. The Ski ALPIN CARD pass also gives access to the Skicircus (Saalbach), to Zell am See and to Kaprun, ski areas not linked on skis. Run distribution is given as a percentage of the kilometres for each difficulty level. Hinterglemm lies at the bottom of the Glemmtal, a few kilometres from Saalbach. The two villages share the Skicircus, with runs on both sides of the valley.

Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
Hinterglemm's ski area, with its 270 km of runs, offers a great choice for all profiles: large enough not to go round in circles for a week, yet compact enough to find your favourite sectors easily. The 69 lifts make it possible to chain descents without long queues. Hinterglemm's family reputation is well deserved: dedicated beginner areas, a well-run childcare service, well-groomed green runs and a good-natured atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It's one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for learning to ski with children. Hinterglemm's altitude (1,060 m at the bottom, 2,096 m at the top) helps it maintain decent snow cover in the middle of winter. January and February are the most reliable; in December and March, it's best to check conditions before finalising a booking. The budget for a stay in Hinterglemm is clearly high: 82€ for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants among the most expensive in the Alps. It's the price of excellence, but be aware of it before you go. In short: Hinterglemm lives up to its promises. A Northern Alps resort that will suit most profiles without disappointing.
