✍️ Our verdict on Corno del Renon

Corno del Renon is a low-key resort on a modest scale — 13 km of runs for an intimate skiing experience, far from the bustle of the big resorts. This is where people come for calm, authenticity and no queues at the lifts. The family reputation of Corno del Renon is well earned: dedicated beginner areas, well-groomed green runs and a good-natured atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for laying the foundations of skiing with children. The altitude of Corno del Renon (1,538 m at the base, 2,260 m at the top) allows it to maintain decent snow reliability in mid-winter. January and February are the most dependable; in December and March, it's best to check conditions before finalising a booking. The day lift pass at 44€ places Corno del Renon in the mid-range category for budget — neither cheap nor exorbitant. The quality of the ski area and facilities justifies this price for most skiers. In short: Corno del Renon doesn't rival the giants of skiing, and doesn't claim to. It's an honest destination, often underrated, that deserves to be (re)discovered.
