Did you know?
The resort's altiport was the setting for the opening scene of the James Bond film 'Tomorrow Never Dies' (1997), with Pierce Brosnan. An Afghan camp had been recreated there. In tribute, it was renamed 'Altiport 007' in 2017, the same year a 2.8 km blue run was named '007'.
Born from the merger of the resorts of Peyresourde (Hautes-Pyrénées) and Les Agudes (Haute-Garonne), it is also a regular on the Tour de France: in 2012, during the first stage finish in the resort, Thomas Voeckler won the polka-dot jersey for the best climber.

✍️ Our verdict on Peyragudes

A resort on a human scale, Peyragudes relies on the quality of its welcome and its closeness rather than impressive figures. Its 60 km of runs are ideal for a 3- to 4-day stay, especially with family or for skiers who don't need to constantly renew their playground. The family reputation of Peyragudes is well earned: dedicated beginner areas, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Pyrenees for learning to ski with children. Peyragudes' altitude (1,600 m at the base, 2,400 m at the top) helps it maintain decent snow cover in midwinter. January and February are the most reliable; in December and March, it's best to check conditions before finalising a booking. The 42€ day lift pass places Peyragudes among the mid-range resorts on budget: neither cheap nor exorbitant. The quality of the ski area and facilities justifies this price for most skiers. In short: Peyragudes keeps its promises. A Pyrenean resort that will suit most profiles without disappointing.
