Did you know?
Together with its neighbour Gréolières, it is one of the two ski resorts closest to the Azure coast: under an hour from Cannes and Grasse, you ski on a true balcony above the Côte d'Azur, with views of the Lérins Islands, the Estérel and the whole Mediterranean.
The resort is linked to its twin La Moulière by a ridge run, from which you take in the snow-capped peaks of the Mercantour on one side and Lac de Saint-Cassien and the coast on the other.

✍️ Our verdict on L'Audibergue

L'Audibergue is a modestly sized, low-key resort: 10 km of runs for an intimate skiing experience, far from the bustle of the big resorts. This is where you come for calm, authenticity and no queues at the lifts. L'Audibergue's family reputation is well deserved: dedicated beginner areas, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Southern Alps for laying the foundations of skiing with children. L'Audibergue's moderate altitude — starting at 1,200 m, summit at 1,600 m — makes it sensitive to climate variations. January and February remain the surest months for optimal snow cover. Outside this window, checking snow reports before you set off is strongly recommended. With a day lift pass at just 18€, L'Audibergue is one of the most affordable destinations in France. For families on a tight budget, or skiers who want to fit in plenty of outings without breaking the bank, it is a sincere and often overlooked choice. In short: L'Audibergue does not rival the giants of skiing, and does not pretend to. It is an honest destination, often underrated, that deserves to be (re)discovered.
