✍️ Our verdict on Falkert – Heidialm

Falkert – Heidialm is a low-key resort on a modest scale — 11 km of runs for an intimate skiing experience, far from the bustle of the big resorts. This is where people come for calm, authenticity and no queues at the lifts. Falkert – Heidialm's family reputation is well earned: dedicated beginner areas, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for laying the foundations of skiing with children. Falkert – Heidialm's altitude (1,840 m at the bottom, 2,107 m at the top) allows it to maintain decent snow reliability in mid-winter. January and February are the most reliable months; in December and March, it is best to check conditions before finalising a booking. The 39€ day lift pass places Falkert – Heidialm in the mid-range category for budget — neither cheap nor exorbitant. The quality of the ski area and facilities justifies this price for most skiers. In short: Falkert – Heidialm does not rival the giants of skiing, and doesn't claim to. It is an honest destination, often underrated, that deserves to be (re)discovered.
