The Engadin St. Moritz lift pass also covers the neighbouring areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza, which are not linked on skis. The day price is dynamic or not published: the one shown is an estimate. Run distribution is given as a percentage of the kilometres of each difficulty. Diavolezza and Lagalb face each other in the Val Bernina, above 2,000 m. Diavolezza offers a striking view of the Piz Bernina and a famous off-piste descent down the glacier to Morteratsch. The area has no blue runs.

Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
A resort on a human scale, Diavolezza focuses on the quality of its welcome and its closeness rather than on impressive figures. Its 35 km of runs are a perfect fit for a 3 to 4 day stay, especially for families or skiers who don't need to keep changing their playground. Technical terrain is king at Diavolezza: with 23 black and 77 red runs on the programme, confirmed skiers will find plenty to challenge them. Off-piste and freeride are often enjoyed in excellent conditions thanks to the altitude and the orientation of the slopes. As for snow reliability, Diavolezza is in a strong position with its summit at 3,006 m: even in capricious winters, the upper runs hold up well into April. The village at 2,093 m is also well placed to offer comfortable conditions from mid-December. The budget for a stay at Diavolezza is clearly high: 70€ for a day lift pass, plus accommodation and mountain restaurants that are among the most expensive in the Alps. It is the price of excellence, but you need to be aware of it before you go. In short: Diavolezza doesn't compete with the giants of skiing, and doesn't claim to. It is an honest destination, often underrated, that deserves to be (re)discovered.
