✍️ Our review of Le Frenz

Le Frenz is a small, intimate resort with 1 km of runs, far from the bustle of the big resorts. This is where people come for calm, authenticity and no queues at the lifts. Le Frenz's family reputation is well earned: dedicated beginner areas, well-groomed green runs and a good-natured atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Vosges for laying the foundations of skiing with children. Le Frenz's modest altitude, from 770 m at the base to 1,100 m at the top, makes it sensitive to climate variations. January and February remain the safest months for optimal snow cover. Outside that window, checking the snow reports before setting off is strongly recommended. With a day lift pass at just 12€, Le Frenz is one of the most affordable destinations in France. For families on a tight budget, or skiers who want to make the most of their days without breaking the bank, it is a sincere and often overlooked choice. In short: Le Frenz doesn't compete with the giants of skiing, and doesn't pretend to. It is an honest destination, often underrated, that deserves to be (re)discovered.
