✍️ Our verdict on Brambrüesch

Brambrüesch is a low-key, modest-sized resort — 20 km of runs for an intimate skiing experience, far from the bustle of the big resorts. This is where you come to find calm, authenticity and no queues at the lifts. Brambrüesch's family reputation is well deserved: dedicated beginner areas, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for laying the foundations of skiing with children. Brambrüesch's altitude (1,170 m at the bottom, 2,174 m at the top) allows it to maintain decent snow cover in mid-winter. January and February are the most reliable; in December and March, it is best to check conditions before finalising a booking. The 49€ day lift pass places Brambrüesch among the intermediate resorts on budget — neither cheap nor exorbitant. The quality of the ski area and its facilities justifies this price for most skiers. In short: Brambrüesch does not rival the giants of skiing, and does not pretend to. It is an honest destination, often underrated, that deserves to be (re)discovered.
