Based on the resort's altitude and historical snow reliability
A resort on a human scale, Bernex focuses on the quality of its welcome and its closeness rather than on impressive figures. Its 50 km of runs are ideal for a stay of 3 to 4 days, especially with the family or for skiers who don't need to constantly change their playground. Bernex's family reputation is well deserved: dedicated beginner areas, a well-run childcare service, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Northern Alps for laying the foundations of skiing with children. Bernex's altitude (1,000 m at the base, 2,000 m at the top) allows it to maintain decent snow cover in mid-winter. January and February are the most reliable months; in December and March, it is wise to check conditions before finalising a booking. The 25€ day pass remains reasonable for the quality of the ski area on offer. Counting accommodation, skiing and meals, Bernex is for those who want to spend a great week without the final bill knocking them off their chair. In short: Bernex is one of those rare resorts that combines a real village, a sincere family atmosphere and runs suited to everyone. It's hard to get your stay wrong here.
