✍️ Our view on Arber

Arber is a modest, low-key resort: 12 km of runs for an intimate skiing experience, far from the bustle of the big resorts. This is where people come for calm, authenticity and no queues at the lifts. Arber's family reputation is well earned, with dedicated beginner areas, well-groomed green runs and a friendly atmosphere at the foot of the lifts. It is one of the most reassuring resorts in the Moyenne montagne category for getting children started on skiing. Arber's modest altitude, from 1,050 m at the base to 1,456 m at the summit, makes it sensitive to climate variations. January and February remain the safest months for optimal snow cover. Outside this window, checking the snow reports before setting off is strongly recommended. The day lift pass at 48€ places Arber in the intermediate category on budget: neither cheap nor exorbitant. The quality of the ski area and facilities justifies the price for most skiers. In short, Arber doesn't rival the giants of skiing and doesn't claim to. It is an honest destination, often underrated, that deserves to be (re)discovered.
